WELCOME ADDRESS BY THE GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF MEDIAFUSE-DENTSU NIGERIA, EMEKA CHRIS OKEKE, DELIVERED ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 29TH, 2024 AT THE 2024 DENTSU AFRICA CONFERENCE HELD AT MARRIOTT HOTEL, IKEJA LAGOS

Please permit me to start this address by welcoming the Director-General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Dr. Lekan Fadolapo, our esteemed clients and partners from across our service delivery chain in Africa, and particularly Nigeria, to this year’s Dentsu Africa 2024 Now Summit. Before I continue, I’d like to recognise the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of Dentsu Europe, Middle East and Africa, Andre Andrade; the CEO of Dentsu Africa, Dawn Rowlands; the dentsu EMEA CFO, Helena Gamez, and all the participants seated here today who have flown in from different parts of Africa, Europe, and Middle East to join us in this conference. This conference coincides with MediaFuse-Dentsu Nigeria’s tenth anniversary. It’s been a decade of transformation, innovation, and celebration of the collective spirit of our people, our clients who entrusted us with their brands and custom; the media owners and partners who collaborated with us on innovative solutions; and the individuals who poured out their hearts and minds into making Dentsu Nigeria the success it is today. As we gather here today in the vibrant city of Lagos, surrounded by a community of passionate industry leaders, it is with pride that we reflect on the incredible strides we have taken together for the past 10 years. Dentsu Africa 2024 Summit Holds in Lagos As MediaFuse-Dentsu Nigeria Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The Dentsu Africa conference commences on Monday, February 26, 2024, in Lagos and will end on Thursday, February 29, 2024, the Group Chief Executive Officer of MediaFuseDentsu Nigeria, Emeka Okeke, said. He noted that the Summit coincides with the 10th anniversary of MediaFuse-Dentsu Nigeria. MediaFuse-Dentsu Donates Computers To Army Children Senior High School In Lagos

MediaFuse-Dentsu has donated computers to Army Children Senior High School, Ikeja in a bid to empower students with the tools and resources needed to succeed in today’s tech-driven world. “In today’s digital age, access to technology is no longer a luxury, but a necessity,” said Group Chief Executive Officer of MediaFuse-Dentsu, Emeka Okeke, who was represented by the Chief Operating Officer of D’Agyle, Marian Ogaziechi, during the donation on Tuesday. Emeka explained that the donation would also enable the students to prepare adequately for their examinations, reiterating the company’s commitment to educational excellence and community development. While advising the students to focus on their studies, he said, “We are committed to supporting the educational aspirations of all students, and we believe that this donation will make a significant impact on the lives of those at Army Children Senior High School, Ikeja.” The advertising guru hinted that as the company celebrates its 10th anniversary, this year, more community service and engagement would be embarked upon, according to a statement by Dentsu Nigeria’s Corporate Communications Manager, Sodiq Oyeleke, on Wednesday. The Financial Director of MediaFuse-Dentsu, Funmi Lawal, the computers were provided to the students as a gateway to a world of information and learning opportunities. She emphasised MediaFuse-Dentsu’s commitment to educational excellence and community development extends beyond the donation of computers. “We also plan to partner with schools and other organisations to provide technical support and training for instructors and students in the areas of Information Communication Technology, entrepreneurship and marketing communications,” she added. The school’s principal, Mrs Agbona, B.L, expressed their gratitude for the donation, adding that the computers will be invaluable in helping students prepare for the future and reach their full potential. Agbona, who was represented by the school’s computer tutor, Mrs Tosin Olusola, said, “This will enhance the students’ practice before and after examinations. It will also enable ICT students in Senior Secondary School Two and Senior Secondary School One to have practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. “With the support of MediaFuse-Dentsu, we can provide our students with enhanced educational experiences and nurture their talents and passions to reach their full potential.”

Again, Emeka Okeke Emerges CEO Of The Year

Two prestigious organisations have awarded the Group Chief Executive Officer of MediaFuse-Dentsu, Emeka Okeke, as the CEO of the year within a month. A few weeks after Africa Brands awarded the GCEO, a popular marketing magazine, Brand Communicator (BrandCom) also named Emeka Okeke as CEO of the Year.
